Jane Sangerman is a painter based in Brooklyn, New York.

Jane Sangerman (b. Chicago, IL) is a mixed media artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She has a BFA from the University of New Mexico and an MFA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

She has had one and two person shows in many cities including Chicago and New York City. Her most recent solo show is currently on view in the Equity Gallery Project Space in New York, New York. Jane has also shown in group shows nationally and internationally.,

Jane has received Fellowships at Millay Arts, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, The Ucross Foundation, and The Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. In addition, she has received The Jerome Foundation Fellowship, the Artist in Residence Grant, Ramapo College, and the Illinois Painters Three Award.

Her artwork is part of more than 25 public collections including the Brooklyn Museum, the Spartanburg Art Museum, the New York City Public Library, the University at Buffalo Anderson Gallery, and Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
